Ever since, he’s been combining his love for blues aesthetics and his passion for Groove. Participating in the musical exchange project Forest Jam, he toured in South Africa, Madagascar and Mozambique, where he collaborated and gave concerts with local artists such as Madala Kunene, Mabi Thobejane, Tarang Cissokho and Matchume Zango.
Attaining his music degrees at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK), Carlo studied with mentors Nik Bärtsch (Ronin) and Munir Hossn.
Apart from his current projects, Carlo also works as a sideman and session guitarist for various artists and gives guitar lessons.
